The OVBA, in partnership with AdamBarkerPhotography, is pleased to announce the 2012 OGDEN VALLEY FALL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP.  This intensive weekend of outdoor and indoor sessions will help attendees to create those 5-star images of this gorgeous season. Sancturay Ranch, Huntsville UT Lives up to its Name

Ogden Canyon, UT, Fall Colors are Starting to Appear

Take a drive through Ogden Canyon ( between Ogden City and Eden) and look up - you will see some smatterings of red appearing. This is the precursor to color in Ogden Valley (Eden and Huntsville area).  Overall, the color change is about two weeks behind - this is usually the peak weekend. Stay tuned for more color updates!  Fall Color Photography Workshop - Oct 8th will be awesome!

Utah Fall Color Photography Workshops Sept 24th and Oct 8th, 2011

Ogden Valley is the site for our 2011 Northern Utah Fall Color Photography Workshops!  The Ogden Valley Business Association and the Ogden Camera Club are teaming up once again, with sessions for all levels of photography buffs. Expert mentors from the Ogden Camera Club will lead.  Attendees will have a chance to win $50.00 cash and an 11 x 14 Canvas Gallery Wrap from The Imaging Depot in Ogden, UT, for their best photograph.

Set at “inflation buster” pricing, one session is $10.00, while both sessions are just $17.00.  There is a package with two meals priced at $36.00.  The first session is on September 24th at 4:30 PM, where Harley and Buck’s will serve an optional BBQ Buffet during opening meeting. This evening session in the field includes an optional free Light Painting Session after dark for no extra charge.  The second session is on October 8th, starting at 8 AM. This morning session will take place at an exclusive location overlooking teh Ogden Valley, and includes an optional boxed lunch from Harley and Buck’s of EdenAttendees will provide their own transportation during the workshops.

Mountain Transformation

Wow, the colors are changing fast! I spent Saturday morning at the OVBA Fall Color Photo Workshop and there was so much color to shoot. The maples were a full range of orange and red and the oaks were just starting to lighten. I expect by this weekend the entire mountainside will be glowing. If you haven't been up close and personal with our beautiful mountains yet, do it now!
